Job summary

ICEYE US-SkyFi in Irvine, California is seeking a Payload Software Engineer to design, develop, and integrate payload software for satellite systems. You will work closely with the space systems team and ensure the software architecture is robust and reliable.

With your experience in embedded software and systems, you will take ownership of the software functionalities, contributing to innovative solutions in synthetic aperture radar technology. The salary range for this position is $155k to $175k, along with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• 6+ years using C, C++, and Python.
• 6+ years in Embedded Software development.
• 6+ years in SoC and Microcontroller Designs.
• 6+ years in Embedded Linux environments.
• Experience in ICD development and communication protocols.
• Full software lifecycle experience from Requirements to Test.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop payload software for space systems.
• Own embedded software and firmware architecture and implementation.
• Understand current satellite system and SAR technology.
• Define regression testing throughout development for system verification.
