Job summary

Bastion Technologies is seeking a Payload Safety Panel Representative to support the space program in Houston, TX. You will serve as the engineering representative to the ISS Safety Review Panel (ISRP) and work through PDR, CDR, and flight delivery, reviewing payload systems for transport, interface, and operation.

The role requires US citizenship or permanent residency, a bachelor's in engineering, 2+ years' experience, strong leadership and communication skills, and familiarity with NASA

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering required.
• Minimum 2+ years of related work experience.
• US Citizenship or Permanent Residency required.
• Experience with electrical and mechanical systems including avionics, power distribution, hydraulics, and electromechanical devices.
• Familiarity with NASA standards and ISS hazard tools.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the engineering representative to the ISS Safety Review Panel (ISRP).
• Be an integral member of the ISRP team through all project phases to flight delivery.
• Perform technical reviews of payload systems for transport, interface and operational parameters.
• Coordinate comments with SME team and provide feedback communications.
• Support meetings with ISS Program leadership.
• Participate in engineering working group meetings supporting ISS safety panel reviews.
• Other duties as assigned.
