The role requires 5+ years in payer contracting or related healthcare strategy, strong negotiation skills, and advanced Excel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field.
• 5+ years in payer contracting or comparable healthcare strategy role.
• Experience in hospital/health system payer environment.
• Strong contract negotiation and relationship management.

Responsibilities

• Lead negotiations and management of payer agreements across MLH entities.
• Serve as primary relationship manager for assigned insurers.
• Analyze reimbursement methodologies and contract performance for optimization.
• Develop payer-provider arrangements including value-based models.
• Monitor contract performance and collaborate with finance and operations.
