Job summary

Arrowhead Pharmaceuticals, Inc. seeks a Health Outcomes Liaison to engage regional payers and decision-makers, communicating the clinical and economic value of its RNAi therapies.

The role requires extensive travel and collaboration with Medical Affairs and Market Access teams to inform payer strategies. The successful candidate will have a medical/science background, payer liaison experience, and strong skills in communicating complex data to diverse audiences.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of industry experience as a Payor Medical Liaison.
• 3+ years of clinical or related practical experience.
• Experience in Managed Care/PBM, HEOR activities, or strong knowledge of P&T committee processes.
• Strong scientific and clinical acumen with the ability to translate complex data for payer audiences.
• Ability to travel >60% of the time and work in a fast-paced biotech environment.

Responsibilities

• Engage regional and local payer decision-makers on payer initiatives, RWE, HEOR, and access barriers for Arrowhead’s RNAi therapies.
• Plan and execute territory-level engagement strategies aligned with Medical Affairs Payer Director guidance.
• Maintain relationships with payer medical directors, formulary committees, and other decision-makers; deliver scientific presentations and address questions.
• Gather and communicate payer insights to inform national strategy and evidence planning.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent scientific messaging and support payer-focused activities.
