Job summary

Tava Health is seeking a Delegated Credentialing Specialist to own the day-to-day delegated credentialing across payer relationships. You will manage audits, primary source verification, documentation, and corrective action plans while coordinating with Enrollment, Partnerships, Revenue Cycle, Legal, and Compliance teams.

You’ll lead credentialing for Nurse Practitioners and group practices, support NCQA/state updates, monitor credentialing timelines, and ensure audit-ready records with CPCS

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of credentialing and enrollment experience, including delegated credentialing.
• Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist (CPCS) certification.
• Ability to manage multiple payer relationships with minimal oversight.
• Strong organization and documentation skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; team player in a high-growth setting.
• Familiarity with CAQH, NPDB, PECOS, and payer rostering tools.

Responsibilities

• Oversee delegated credentialing activities for an assigned payer portfolio, including readiness reviews and annual audits.
• Maintain audit-ready credentialing records and prepare recurring deliverables for delegated partners.
• Lead credentialing for Nurse Practitioners and support group-practice credentialing.
• Monitor regulatory updates and implement compliance changes with cross-functional teams.
• Serve as a point of contact for payer communications and support corrective actions.
