Job summary

The University of Vermont Health Network is seeking a contracts leadership professional to manage the payer contracting lifecycle from strategy through implementation. You will lead negotiations, draft language with legal, and analyze reimbursement methodologies to drive network optimization.

You will collaborate with payers, operational leaders, finance, legal counsel, and provider groups to ensure contracts support organizational goals and renewal processes are maintained.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 5-8 years healthcare contracting experience.
• Knowledge of hospital and physician reimbursement methodologies.
• Experience negotiating managed care agreements.
• Strong analytical and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead payer contract negotiations and amendments.
• Draft and review contract language with legal counsel.
• Maintain contract inventory and renewal schedules.
