Job summary

Florida Orthopaedic Institute seeks a Contract Analyst to support payer contracting, reimbursement analysis, and fee schedule management, driving insights for negotiations and renewals. You will use SQL and Power BI to analyze revenue cycle performance, build financial models, and deliver executive-ready reports to inform strategic decisions.

This role collaborates with Revenue Cycle and Operations to convert findings into actionable improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Analytics, Healthcare Administration, Information Systems, or related field.
• Minimum of two years of experience in healthcare analytics, revenue cycle, payer reimbursement, financial analysis, or related.
• Experience with healthcare data sets and large financial/operational data preferred.
• Experience with payer contracts, reimbursement modeling, or fee schedule analysis preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage, maintain, validate, and analyze payer fee schedules within the Practice Management System.
• Analyze payer contract terms, reimbursement methodologies, and fee schedules to evaluate performance.
• Use SQL and ad hoc reporting tools to query and analyze revenue cycle data.
• Conduct reimbursement variance analysis using Rivet and other tools to identify underpayments and issues.
• Translate findings into actionable recovery opportunities and process improvements.
• Develop financial models and scenario analyses to evaluate impact of contract terms and changes.
• Provide analytical support and recommendations to leadership in payer negotiations and renewal.
• Query and analyze raw billing data and develop dashboards and reports in Power BI.
• Monitor trends and performance to identify opportunities to improve reimbursement accuracy and revenue realization.
• Lead special projects related to reimbursement and Revenue Cycle functions.
