PharMerica, affiliated with BrightSpring Health Services, is seeking a Payer Audit Specialist in Vancouver, WA. The role processes payer audits for select locations, reviews documentation, and ensures timely, accurate responses while maintaining high-quality customer service.

Responsibilities include collecting and organizing medical records, ensuring compliance with regulations, and coordinating with departments to resolve audits efficiently.

Formación

• Two to four years of experience in revenue cycle management with familiarity of managed care, commercial, government, Medicare and Medicaid reimbursement.
• CPR+ and Waystar experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of ICD-10/CPT/HCPCS coding and medical terminology.
• Strong MS Office skills; ability to type 40+ WPM.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; able to interpret information and craft audit responses.

Responsabilidades

• Ensures daily progress toward cash collections, payer audits, credit balances, medical records, and accounts receivable goals.
• Adheres to state/federal regulations and company policies.
• Receives, documents, processes, and tracks incoming payer audit requests to final resolution.
• Coordinates with departments to ensure proper review, appeals, and resolution of audits.
• Assembles documentation, drafts appeal responses, and submits to payers as required.
• Responds promptly to payer audit requests and meets deadlines.
• Analyzes payer audit trends and suggests process improvements to management.
• Works within department goals and productivity metrics.
