Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Greet customers with a smile and provide friendly service.
• Operate the cash register and process payments (cash, checks, cards, in-store charges).
• Count back change, issue receipts, and bag items for customers.
• Maintain adequate supplies of silverware, condiments, and beverage cups.
• Refill and maintain coffee service area with cups and condiments.
• Assist with bussing tables and run orders to dining areas as needed.
• Keep work area clean and organized; follow sanitation procedures.
• Answer phones promptly and provide helpful service to callers.
• Work with coworkers as a team to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Assist in other store areas and take on special projects as assigned.
• Maintain personal hygiene and dress standards per Hy-Vee policies.
• Report to work as scheduled and on time.
