Job summary

Sunbelt Pawn, located in Humble, Texas, is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Sales/Loan Associate to join our growing team. As a key member of our team, you will assist customers with buying, selling, and pawning a variety of merchandise, including electronics and jewelry.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills required.
• Basic computer and math skills necessary.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be dependable, honest, and a team player.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers in a courteous manner.
• Evaluate and appraise merchandise for pawn loans or purchase.
• Process pawn loans, extensions, and forfeitures compliance.
• Complete required documentation accurately.
• Maintain knowledge of current market values for merchandise.
• Organize product displays and maintain the sales floor.
• Educate customers on product features and store policies.
• Process cash transactions and maintain cash drawer.
• Adhere to policies and regulatory requirements.
• Report compliance concerns to management promptly.
