Job summary

Allan Myers is seeking a Quality Control Technician in Maryland to enforce a Quality Control System for asphalt, concrete, and quarry products, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local specifications.

You will run daily QC tests, develop QC procedures, and design mix specs, coordinating with agencies and performing lab experiments per approved protocols. This on-site role offers competitive benefits and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or its equivalent in scientific or engineering discipline.
• 1–2 years' experience; 3–5 years preferred.
• Knowledge of lab scientific protocols and applicability of government regulation on product quality.

Responsibilities

• Runs daily quality control tests to ensure compliance with specifications and regulations.
• Develops and adheres to quality control procedures for asphalt, concrete and quarry operations.
• Develops asphalt and concrete mix designs per project specs.
• Coordinates QC procedures with federal, state, and local agencies.
• Conducts lab experiments on products using established protocols.
• Coordinates with plant control rooms regarding customer mix designs.
• Receives and analyzes product-related technical data from external representatives.
• Performs other job-related duties as required.
