United Companies, a CRH Company, seeks a skilled equipment operator to safely and efficiently run loaders, backhoes, and track hoes at project sites. The role emphasizes safe excavations, utility location, and basic maintenance with adherence to safety programs.

The position offers a wage of $20 to $23 per hour, dependent on experience, with opportunities for growth within CRH. CDL is preferred but not required; applicants must pass pre-employment checks and meet safety standards.

Competenze

• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, fractions and decimals.

• Operate equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain safe slopes on excavations and proper barricading.
• Locate utilities and buried lines prior to digging.
• Perform minor servicing and maintenance or refer major problems to supervisor.
• Know trenching and shoring standards.
• Keep time and material records.
• Understand aggregate sizes and load weights.
• Travel between locations.
• Assist Laborer and perform related tasks as needed.
