Job summary

Platinum Paving and Concrete, LLC is seeking a dependable Striping Crew Laborer to support pavement marking and striping projects on roadways, parking lots, and other surfaces. The role involves site prep, layout, painting, cleanup, and traffic control, with emphasis on reliability and attention to detail.

The candidate will work outdoors in varying conditions, lifting up to 75 lbs, and may travel for projects outside the local area. OSHA PPE and safety rules apply.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Able to lift 50–75 lbs and perform physical labor for extended periods.
• Comfortable working outdoors in heat and inclement weather.
• Willingness to travel overnight when projects are outside the local area.
• Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Assist with layout and preparation of work areas for striping, including measuring and chalk lining.
• Load, unload, and organize paint, thermoplastic materials, stencils, and equipment.
• Operate hand tools and support striping machinery under supervision.
• Mask and protect surfaces that do not require markings.
• Apply paint or thermoplastic material using sprayers, hand liners, or other tools as directed.
• Set up traffic control devices and signage to ensure safe work zones.
• Perform cleanup of tools, equipment, and job site at the end of each shift.
• Follow instructions from the Foreman and communicate effectively with team members.
