Job summary

Acuren is seeking a PAUT Technician to join our NDT team in the United States. You will set up and calibrate nondestructive testing equipment and conduct tests to detect discontinuities using NDT methods, ensuring safety and compliance with specifications.

The role requires PAUT certification, field experience, and a technical background in NDT. You will interpret results, write reports, and may supervise others as part of project obligations, contributing to high-integrity asset evaluation.

Qualifications

• PAUT certification is required.
• Field experience is required.
• High School Diploma or equivalent; some college preferred.
• Certified Level II in NDT.
• Technical background in NDT methods and procedures.
• Ability to interpret NDT results of inspections.
• Experience in report writing.
• Knowledge of NDT equipment.

• Interpret radiographs, cathode ray tube (CRT) or digital readouts, conductivity meters and visual indicators
• Organize and report test results
• Perform specialized inspections
• May instruct and supervise others
• Perform other job-related tasks as assigned by management
