Job summary

Qualifications

• Knowledge of library cataloging system.

Responsibilities

• Check materials in and out, answer general reference questions, issue new cards.
• Sort and shelve returned items.
• Maintain collections in orderly, presentable condition, paying special attention to display books.
• Retrieve and check in drop-box items.
• Reads and straightens shelves.
• Checks computer and shelves for overdue and lost items.
• Other duties as assigned by the department head.
