Qualifications

• Must possess a valid Texas Driver’s License.
• Must be licensable by the Texas Commission on Law Enforcement (TCOLE).
• High School Diploma or GED with 30 college credit hours.
• Must complete the Department’s in-service and Field Training Program.

Responsabilités

• Patrols assigned area, in a police vehicle and enforces traffic regulations.
• Responds to requests for service and performs preliminary investigations to deter crime and arrest violators.
• Maintains a patrol presence and familiarizes with area residents and activities.
• Conducts interviews and documents investigations as required by policy.
• Operates police radio and computer/mobile data terminals in routine and emergency situations.
