Job summary

Rutherford County Government is seeking a certified Patrol Officer assigned to Judicial Services Security to provide a steady security presence for Government operations supporting the Court. The role protects people, property, and proceedings while applying sound judgment in fast-moving situations.

Key responsibilities include maintaining order, screening access, responding to incidents, documenting events with clear reports, coordinating with judges and staff, and enforcing laws and procedures

Qualifications

• Current law enforcement certification (as applicable).
• Prior patrol or security experience with strong situational awareness.
• Proficient de-escalation, communication, and report-writing skills.
• Ability to make independent decisions under pressure in a Court setting.

Annual Salary Range: $61,379 - $65,870

As a certified Patrol Officer assigned to Judicial Services Security, you provide a steady, professional security presence for Government operations supporting the Court. This role exists to protect people, property, and proceedings while applying sound judgment in fast-moving situations.

Required qualifications/skills:
