Job summary

Allied Universal® in Prineville, OR is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Driver - Swing Shift to protect clients across technology campuses and facilities. You will perform routine vehicle patrols, maintain a visible presence, and provide outstanding customer service while complying with site policies.

Responsibilities include monitoring access points, reporting unusual activity, assisting with alarm and camera systems, and responding calmly to incidents.

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required.
• At least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check will be conducted in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
• A drug screen will be conducted where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements depend on state/local laws and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors while following site-specific procedures and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout technology campus buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity or facility concerns.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and maintain accurate activity logs in accordance with site policies.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating security-related concerns through established communication channels.
• Assist with monitoring alarms, cameras, and other security-related systems, and report maintenance or operational issues to appropriate personnel.
