Job summary

Qualifications

• Currently serving as a Sheriffs Sergeant-Patrol within Mariposa County.
• Must have completed probationary term for eligibility.
• High school diploma with 60 college units (Associate preferred) plus POST certifications; Supervisory Certificate obtainable within 24 months.

Responsibilities

• Commands, supervises, and administers Patrol Bureau activities and personnel.
• Schedule, evaluate, and discipline division staff; ensure coverage of operations.
• Review and improve policies for safety and efficiency; interpret departmental rules.
