Job summary

Sherburne County Sheriff's Office seeks a Patrol Deputy to perform general duty law enforcement to protect life and property. You will be trusted to make critical decisions, train others, and uphold integrity across one of Minnesota's fastest growing counties.

The role offers opportunities for specialty assignments (K9, ERU, Dive Team, DTF, SRO) and leadership development within a modern training environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma and Minnesota Driver's License required.
• Must meet POST licensure requirements or have equivalent training/experience.
• Licensed or eligible to be licensed by the Minnesota POST Board.

Responsibilities

• Patrol Sherburne County to maintain public safety and enforce laws.
• Respond to a wide range of calls for service from felonies to misdemeanors.
• Administer first aid, investigate, interview witnesses, make arrests and transport individuals.
• Enforce traffic laws and issue citations.
• Transport detainees to court and facilities; assist during emergencies.
• Prepare reports promptly and maintain records.
• Develop and maintain cooperative working relationships.
• Maintain regular attendance per work schedule.
