Munson Medical Center is seeking a dedicated Patient Transporter to move patients safely and efficiently throughout our hospital. You will assist clinical staff by transporting patients to and from units, diagnostic areas, and treatment locations, while providing comfort and information as needed.

This full-time role requires a high school diploma and basic life support certification; prior patient handling experience is preferred.

The Patient Transporter works within Munson Medical Center to assist the clinical staff in moving patients.

Job Description

The Patient Transporter is responsible for the safe and efficient movement of patients to and from clinical units, various diagnostic areas in accordance with established policies and procedures.
Essential Duties:
Transport patients in a safe and timely manner, following established policies and procedures.
Receives and records accurate information from TeleTracking system/dispatcher for each transport. Accepts patient transport job via TeleTracking system. Completes patient transport job via TeleTracking system.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Experience in patient handling and working with the public preferred.
BCLS required or obtain within six months of hire. Failure to obtain may result in termination of employment
