Job summary

Mercy is seeking a hospital transporter to move patients and equipment across the Medical Center. You will ensure safe patient handling and proper body mechanics, while maintaining PAR levels for equipment in various locations, and collaborating with different departments.

Proficiency with Epic software to track patient locations and equipment movement is essential. A minimum of two years in customer service is preferred, and eligibility for BLS certification is required.

Qualifications

• Two years of customer service experience required.
• BLS Certification for Healthcare Providers (CPR and AED) required.
• High School Diploma or equivalent must be obtained.

Responsibilities

• Transport patients and equipment between departments.
• Maintain PAR levels for equipment across locations.
• Use Epic software to track patients and equipment locations.
• Collaborate with Mercy staff and other departments to ensure safe patient transport.
