+ We are hiring immediately for full-time and part-time PATIENT TRANSPORTER positions.

+ Address: Saint Alexius Medical Center - 1555 Barrington Road, Hoffman Estates, IL 60169. Note: online applications accepted only.

+ Schedule: Full-time and part-time schedules. 2:30 pm to 11:00 pm or 11:00 am to 7:30 pm; days may vary. Rotating weekends included. More details upon interview.

+ Requirement: Previous patient transporting experience preferred.

+ Pay Rate: $15.00 per hour

Job Summary

Patient Transporter

Facilitating internal hospital patient moves.

Summary: Responsible for the safe, timely, and accurate transport of patients, equipment, and items to destinations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

+ Safely transport patients, secure IVs, drainage tubes, and patients.

+ Use wheelchairs and approved rolling stock for patient transport.

+ Demonstrate competency with all age groups.

+ Ensure safe, timely, and accurate transport using proper equipment.

+ Communicate effectively with staff and patients.

+ Ensure patient comfort, modesty, and appropriate interactions.

+ Alert staff to distress or equipment issues.

+ Maintain and report on equipment condition.

+ Comply with regulatory standards and confidentiality policies.

+ Perform additional duties as assigned.
