Job summary

Crothall Healthcare at Florida Hospital Tampa is hiring Patient Transporters for full-time and part-time shifts. Pay is $15.00 per hour with multiple schedules: 1:30 pm–10:00 pm, 11:00 am–7:30 pm, and 9:00 am–5:30 pm. No experience required; training provided.

Qualifications

• No experience required; willing to train.

Responsibilities

• Properly and safely transports patients, secures IVs, drainage tubes, etc., and secures patient.
• Uses wheelchairs and other approved rolling stock to carry out duties as required.
• Transports patients to destinations accurately and on time with appropriate equipment.
• Communicates effectively with nursing staff, clinicians, technicians, or dispatch.
• Maintains patient comfort and privacy, adheres to HIPAA policies.
• Alerts staff to signs of distress or equipment malfunction.
• Maintains and reports on equipment needing repairs.
