Job summary

Sentara Albemarle Medical Center in Elizabeth City, NC is seeking a Patient Transporter to join our care team on a flexi/PRN basis. You will safely escort and transport patients throughout the hospital, using proper body mechanics and clear communication with staff and patients.

Responsibilities include maintaining efficient patient flow, coordinating with Central Transport and other departments, and upholding safety and patient care standards in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• BLS certification due within 90 days of hire.
• Experience in patient care is preferred.
