Job summary

The Service Associate will follow department/system processes to ensure all patients are safely and efficiently transported between departments. Staff will maintain integrity of all lines, tubes, and collection devices. Transport staff may be required to move patients' valuables and equipment. Transporters are responsible to document safe patient pickup and arrival via use of the Ticket To Ride. Good communication with fellow department members as well as clinical and non-clinical staff is required. Transport staff will report to the Team Lead in the absence of the Supervisor and or transport manger.
