Job summary

Piedmont Athens Regional Hospital is seeking a patient transport teammate to assist in the safe, efficient movement of patients across the campus. This role helps reduce patient wait times and supports smooth care flow in a busy hospital setting.

No prior experience is required; a GED or high school diploma is preferred, and HeartSaver CPR/AED or BLS certification must be obtained upon hire. Shifts may include evenings and weekends with on-the-job training provided.

Qualifications

• Education: H.S. Diploma or GED preferred.
• Work Experience: No experience required.
• Licenses and Certifications: HeartSaver CPR AED or BLS training upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Transfer patients safely and efficiently within the hospital campus to maximize patient flow.
• Support timely movement of patients to reduce wait times and help care teams.
• Follow safety protocols to protect patients and staff during transfers.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring that patients are transferred throughout the hospital campus in a safe and timely manner that maximizes patient flow. (2:00 pm - 10:30 pm + every other weekend )
