Job summary

HCA HealthONE Mountain Ridge in Thornton, CO is seeking a Patient Transporter to move patients safely between departments using proper transfer techniques and infection control procedures. You will validate patient identity and communicate changes to clinical staff, supporting smooth workflow.

As part of the team you will assist with patient handling, operate safety equipment, restock supplies, and respond promptly to job calls.

Qualifications

• Experience in healthcare or customer service preferred.
• Knowledge of simple medical terminology.
• Typing and computer skills are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Transports patients safely and efficiently between departments following transfer techniques and infection control procedures.
• Validates patients identity based on established department protocol.
• Assists with patient handling using appropriate safety equipment.
• Responds to all job calls in a timely manner.
• Collects, cleans and disinfects patient care equipment and reusable items.
• Performs supply restocking of assigned area as necessary.
