Job summary

Baptist Medical Center Jacksonville is seeking a Patient Transporter for the Patient Escort Services Department at Baptist Downtown. This full-time role accepts patient move assignments from the Dispatcher and transports patients using wheelchair, stretcher, or bed, quickly yet safely.

You will work closely with the nursing staff to maintain continuity of patient care and comply with mandatory education and health requirements.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required.

This may be done utilizing a wheelchair, stretcher, or bed and must always be done in a quick yet safe manner.

Work closely with the nursing staff to ensure that continuity of patient care is maintained at all times.

Education & Credential Requirements:

High School Diploma Required

Basic Life Support (BLS) Required

• Experience working in a hospital setting
