Schedule:

40 Hours, Evenings, 3p-11:30p (Sunday-Thursday), Weekends Required, Full-Time, Benefit Eligible

Position Summary:

The Patient Transporter is an integral part of the patient care team providing prompt, courteous, customer-focused service to the patients, visitors, and coworkers of Boston Medical Center. The Patient Transporter is responsible for patient transport within the hospital and for miscellaneous functions as well. He/she contributes to service excellence by fostering collaboration among and between team members as well as other ancillary departments.

Requirements:
  • Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
  • Experience: 6-12 Months Customer Service or Hospital Experience Preferred
  • Certification/Licensure: BLS/CPR certification preferred
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
  • Ability to lift without any limitations
Compensation Range:

$17.92- $26.63

This range offers an estimate based on the minimum job qualifications. However, our approach to determining base pay is comprehensive, and a broad range of factors is considered when making an offer.
