  • Ensure all transport equipment is functional, clean, and ready for use.

  • Collaborate with other medical professionals to maintain a smooth and efficient workflow.

  • Assist in the movement and positioning of patients as required.


Qualifications


  • High School graduate or GED required.

  • Previous medical background experience preferred.

  • Nursing Assistant Level I certification preferred.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

  • Physical Attributes:

    • Stamina and endurance to walk or stand for long periods.

    • Strength to lift and move patients and equipment, often involving weights up to 50 pounds or more.

    • Good hand-eye coordination for operating transport equipment and assisting patients.

    • Flexibility to bend, stoop, kneel, and reach as necessary.

    • Balance and coordination to maintain stability while moving patients and navigating hospital corridors.
