Job summary

Lovelace Health System in Albuquerque, NM is seeking a dedicated Patient Transporter for the day shift. This full-time role supports patient movement and visitor transport with a focus on safety and courtesy.

Responsibilities include prompt transportation, teamwork with healthcare staff, and adherence to hospital policies. A High School diploma or GED is required, plus BLS within 14 days of starting, and prior patient-care experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Transfer patients from a bed to a stretcher or wheelchair with assistance.
• One year of previous job-related experience.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
• Preferred: Medical Terminology Knowledge.
