Qualifications

• 5 years of driving experience required.
• Successful completion of defensive driving and passenger assistance training.
• Must comply with state driving laws and have proof of license and insurance.

This role will support participants in the Gresham site.

The Transportation Coordinator picks up and delivers geriatric, frail and/or physically limited PACE participants to and from their destinations in regular or specially equipped vehicles, depending upon the individual geriatric participants needs.

Required Qualifications:

• Coursework/Training Successful completion of defensive driving and passenger assistance training courses within 3 months of hire.
• Upon request: Driving may be necessary as part of this role. Caregivers are required to comply with all state laws and requirements for driving. Caregivers will be expected to provide proof of driver license and auto insurance upon request. See policy for additional information.
• 5 years Driving experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 2 years Driving experience, which includes:
• Driving a large passenger van or small bus.
• 2 years of experience transporting people with special needs.
• 1 yearExperience in transporting individuals with special mobility needs.
