Job summary

EvergreenHealth in Kirkland, WA seeks a per diem patient transportation specialist to safely lift, transfer, and transport patients throughout the facility.

You will assist with JIT education for patient care staff and help coordinate annual skills fairs with education and PT departments, while supporting a wide range of duties as assigned.

Eligible candidates should have knowledge of safe lifts, current BLS, and a customer-focused approach; experience in healthcare or patient transport is a plus.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated knowledge of safe lifts, transfers, and transports.
• Demonstrated effective customer relations skills with a diverse population of age groups and physical conditions.
• Current Healthcare Provider BLS certification by date of hire.

Wage Range: $24.27 - $37.22 per hour plus 15% per diem rate

Posted wage ranges represent the entire range from minimum to maximum. For jobs with more than one level, the posted range reflects the minimum of the lowest level and the maximum of the highest level. Some positions also offer additional premiums based on shift, certifications or degrees. Job offers are determined based on a candidate's years of relevant experience, level of education and internal equity.

License, Certification, Education or Experience

REQUIRED for the position:

• Demonstrated knowledge of safe lifts, transfers, and transports.
• Demonstrated effective customer relations skills with a diverse population of age groups and physical conditions.
• Current Healthcare Provider BLS certification by date of hire.

DESIRED for the position:

• 1 year of related experience. Previous customer service, patient care, healthcare or patient transport experience desired.
• Patient care, health care, or lift team experience
