Job summary

Baptist Memorial Health Care Corporation seeks a dedicated Transporter to move patients, equipment and supplies safely and efficiently within the hospital. You will document transports, maintain a germ-free environment, and support patient care by ensuring timely availability of items.

Requirements include at least 6 months hospital or customer service experience and a high school diploma or equivalent; a HS diploma/GED is preferred.

Qualifications

• 6 months hospital or customer service experience preferred.
• Must meet minimum education: high school level or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Transports patients, equipment, and/or supplies throughout hospital to ensure items are available when needed for patient care.
• Maintains a safe and germ free environment for all customers.
• Documents all patient transports on appropriate departmental log.
• Inspects equipment prior to usage to ensure it is in proper working order.
• Completes assigned goals.
