Job summary

Virtua Health in Mount Holly, NJ is seeking a Transporter to support patient movement across units. You will transport patients using wheelchairs, stretchers, or beds, ensuring safety and proper patient identification.

The role requires a friendly, patient-centered approach, strong communication, and the ability to work Fri-Sun with a 12:00pm to 9:30pm shift. Full-time benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Excellent verbal communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Responsibilities

• Transport patients to and from departments/units safely.
• Assist with patient comfort and proper identification during transport.
• Care for and clean wheelchairs and stretchers; report repairs as needed.
• Coordinate with nurses and testing departments to maintain patient flow.
