Qualifications

• Basic Life Support/CPR training may be required.
• Must be able to use a computer for patient information and clerical functions.

Responsibilities

• Move unused equipment to storage areas to keep hallways clear.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare staff.
• Ensure proper handling and delivery of medical equipment and supplies.
• Participate in training to improve skills and knowledge.
• Assist in safe transfers of patients from bed to stretcher or wheelchair.
• Transport patients and related items using stretchers, wheelchairs, beds, and cribs.
• Record transport details accurately in the Transportation system.
