Parkridge Medical Center in Chattanooga, TN is seeking a Patient Transporter to support the smooth flow of care by moving patients between departments and preparing equipment for transport. You will communicate with patients and families, assist with transfer from bed, wheelchair, or stretcher, and ensure stretchers, oxygen lines, and other gear are safely managed.

• Basic Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.

Responsabilités

• Move patients between departments and to required modes of travel.
• Transfer patients to and from bed, stretcher or wheelchair with or without assistance.
• Ensure stretchers, wheelchairs, oxygen cylinders, and related equipment are kept clean and in good condition.
