Job summary

Aramark seeks a Patient Transport Worker to move patients, belongings, and records to support care across our Temple facilities in Texas.

You will follow safety rules, verify identities, assist with admissions/discharges, and maintain confidentiality while delivering reliable, courteous service. This role requires physical stamina and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with OSHA compliance and training provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; must communicate fluently in English.
• Stay calm in less-than-calm situations.
• Ability to work well under time constraints.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out written or oral instructions.
• Flexible and responsive to change.

Responsibilities

• Transport patients and their belongings, medical records, specimens, and equipment to facilitate patient care.
• Safely move patients with IVs, drainage, or other medical equipment.
• Notify dispatcher of status and follow instructions.
• Verify patient identity using two identifiers.
• Assist patients on admissions and discharges and help them in/out of vehicles.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient information.
• Transport decedent bodies to the morgue and complete documentation.
• Follow OSHA and local, state, and federal regulations.
