Qualifications

• Must have working-level knowledge of the English language, including reading, writing and speaking English.
• Patient/healthcare related experience preferred.
• Current BLS from American Heart Association within 30 days of hire; Patient mobility course within 90 days of hire.
• Computer skills to complete online learning, access online forms/policies, and benefits enrollment.

Responsibilities

• Transport patients and equipment to support patient care and throughput.
• Coordinate with nursing and other teams to deliver high-quality patient care during transit.
• Assist nursing staff in safely transferring patients to/from gurneys, wheelchairs and beds.
• Place telemetry monitors on patients in appropriate position for remote heart monitoring.
• Communicate transport status, priorities, and delays to transport team and clinical units to optimize patient flow.
