Job summary

Cove Forge is hiring for a full-time role starting at $15.00 per hour with a $2,500 sign-on bonus. The facility offers a comprehensive benefits package and 401K with matching, along with paid holidays and PTO, plus shift differentials for 2nd, 3rd and weekend shifts.

The position requires a HS diploma or GED, professional demeanor, basic computer skills for emails/charting, and a valid driver’s license if available.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• Six months or more experience working with the specific population preferred.
• CPR and de-escalation and restraint certification required.
• First aid may be required based on state or facility requirements.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate urgency regarding patient safety and provide excellent customer service.
• Ensure patient well-being and provide a supportive, structured environment.
• Conduct safety checks and supervise at 15-minute intervals as needed.
• Document accurate clinical information in the patient record.
• Assist in maintaining a safe, secure environment for patients, family, and staff.
• Interact with patients, observe behaviors, and report observations to nursing staff.
• Help patients with activities of daily living as needed.
• Record vital signs and measurements and document in records.
• Facilitate educational and rehabilitative groups on social and coping skills.
