Job summary

Providence Little Company of Mary Medical Center San Pedro in San Pedro, CA is seeking a Patient Sitter for 12-hour night shifts on a per diem basis. Under RN supervision, you will closely observe patients, assist with activities of daily living, and help maintain a safe, clean environment while supporting the nursing team and care plans.

Minimum qualification includes National Provider BLS. Preferred training includes Nurses Aid or Health Care Assistant coursework, with about 1 year of health

Qualifications

• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association is required at hire.

Patient Sitter at Providence Little Company of Mary Medical Center San Pedro in San Pedro, CA. This position is Per Diem and will work 12-hour, Night shifts.

Providence Little Company of Mary Medical Center San Pedro, awarded the Joint Commission's Gold Seal of Approval and the American Heart Association/American Stroke Association's Gold Plus Achievement Award, is recognized for its exceptional stroke care. Additionally, our Rehab Center is nationally ranked by UDSMR and accredited by CARF for outstanding rehabilitation programs.

Under the supervision of an RN, provides close observation of patients. Assists in the provision of a safe and clean environment. Promotes the therapeutic milieu and the efficiency of the nursing team. Provides assistance with activities of daily living, unless the patient needs are such that adverse health consequences are predictable. Supports System and Nursing Strategic Plans, Relationship-Based Care, and Shared Leadership.

Required Qualifications:

• Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Coursework/Training: Training in Nurses Aid course or Health Care Assistant.
• 1 year Health care experience.

Pay Range: $25.00 - $29.59
