Job summary

Providence Swedish is seeking a Patient Services Specialist at Journey Level to handle patient registration, appointment scheduling for routine services, and essential clerical duties, with increasing independence.

As a key member of the care team, you will deliver compassionate service, effective communication, and support for patients and families, joining a large not-for-profit health system across the Puget Sound.

The Patient Services Specialist - Journey Level performs all core front-office functions with increased independence and efficiency. The Journey PSS is capable of performing all aspects of the Associate PSS. This role is responsible for patient registration, appointment scheduling for routine and basic healthcare services, and general clerical duties. As a fully engaged member of the care team, the Patient Services Specialist demonstrates a commitment to compassionate service, effective communication, and operational excellence in support of Providence patients and their families.

Required Qualifications:

Posted are the minimum and the maximum wage rates on the wage range for this position. The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors.
