Revo Health is seeking a part-time Patient Services Representative to handle patient registration, check-in, and basic administrative tasks at our West Region clinics in Minnesota.

This 0.4 FTE role runs Monday and Wednesday from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, with rotating Saturdays (6:30 AM–11:00 AM) at our Waconia, Chaska, and Eden Prairie locations. Additional hours may be available to support other offices as clinic needs arise.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.
• Customer Service experience required.
• Administrative or Medical Office experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and register patients; collect payments and insurance information.
• Verify and document insurance information as defined by current practices.
• Accurate and timely scheduling of new and existing patients in the practice management system.
• Communicate all pertinent information to patients, including appointment information, directions, check-in times, and copayments.
• Chart preparation and management.
• Maintain knowledge of health care plan requirements and networks.
• Maintain timely communication with patients, families, and staff.
• Coordinate Switchboard Operator duties: calls, interpreters, referrals.
• Any and all other duties as assigned.

Job description

The Patient Services Representative is responsible for patient registration and check in as well as clinical support duties.

This is a part-time role (0.4 FTE), working Monday and Wednesday from 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM, and rotating Saturday's from 6:30 AM - 11:00 AM out of our Waconia, Chaska, and Eden Prairie locations. Availability to support other West Region offices and flexibility to pick up extra hours when clinic needs arise.

Twin Cities Orthopedics is an operating division of Infinite Health Collaborative (i-Health), a group of local medical practices, owned and led by its physicians, on a mission to give patients more control over their healthcare.

Essential Functions

• Greet and register patients; collect co-payments, pre-payments, insurance information, and photo ID


• Verify and document insurance information as defined by current business practices


• Accurate and timely scheduling of new and existing patients in the current practice management system


• Communicate all pertinent information to patients, including: appointment information, directions, check-in times, referral information and copayments


• Chart preparation and management


• Maintain a working knowledge of health care plan requirements and health plan networks


• Maintain timely communication with patients, families, and staff


• Rotation of Switchboard Operator duties which include: accepting, handling and transferring calls, coordination of interpreters for clinic appointments, and coordination of patient referrals


• Any and all other duties as assigned

Education And Experience Requirements

• High School diploma/GED or equivalent


• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel


• Customer Service experience required


• Administrative or Medical Office experience preferred

Benefits & Compensation:

• Actual starting pay will vary based on education, skills, and experience.


• The pay range displayed reflects full-time compensation and will be prorated for employees working less than a full-time schedule.


• A $1,500 sign-on bonus will be offered for select roles, payable on first paycheck with a 12-month commitment. Internal applicants are not eligible for the sign-on bonus.
