Corewell Health in Grand Rapids is seeking a detail‑oriented clerical supervisor to organize day‑to‑day clerical functions in delivering quality health care, guided by standard work. You will provide functional guidance to clerical staff.

In this full‑time role, you will audit processes, develop improvement plans, and schedule complex referrals, surgeries, and in‑office procedures while reviewing referrals and medical records.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 3 years of relevant experience.
• Associate’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversees development and delivery of functional training to clerical staff using standard work.
• Audits and develops action plans for process improvement.
• Schedules complex incoming/outgoing referrals, complex surgeries and in-office procedures, tests, including medical record review of incoming referrals.
• Performs tracking and trending collaborative review/audits within department/practice.
• Serves as a subject matter expert/resource to the department/practice.
• Possesses the ability to perform the roles of Patient Services Representative, Associate and Intermediate roles when necessary.
• Actively participates in safety initiatives and risk mitigating measures where appropriate and completes all position and unit safety related competencies and requirements on a timely basis.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Job Summary
