Job summary

Hartford HealthCare Rehabilitation Network is seeking a Patient Service Representative to support the Rehab Manager by answering phones, scheduling appointments, directing patients, and maintaining records in compliance with relevant standards and regulations.

The role involves coordinating billing and insurance, managing admissions and discharges, and providing excellent patient service across a state-wide network of rehab facilities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Two or more years experience in an administrative support position.
• High level of proficiency with computer applications.
• Previous experience in a medical or rehab office strongly preferred.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

Patient Service Representative reports to the Rehab Manager and supports the operation by organizing and maintaining records of all activity in accordance with current applicable federal, state and local standards, guidelines and regulations. Will answer phones, schedule appointments, direct patients, maintain records, coordinate billing and insurance and manage admissions and discharges.
