Job summary

Silver Cross Hospital is seeking a detail-oriented coordinator to manage after-visit activities, AVS printing, and payment policy communications. This role supports scheduling follow-ups and ensures pre-visit clearances are completed on the service date.

Ideal candidates have strong customer service and interpersonal skills, with experience in insurance and proficient use of PCs and practice software. Roles include variable shifts and potential weekend coverage.

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred; High school diploma required.
• Prior experience and in-depth knowledge of insurance preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with patients, physicians, management, staff and other customers.
• Exceptional customer service skills including the ability to use independent thinking, sound judgement and creativity when resolving customer issues.
• Ability to balance multiple priorities and effectively handle challenging situations.
• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Ability to use personal computers and select software applications.

Days - Variable weekday and weekend, Weekdays, possibly some weekends and evenings. Mon, Tue, Thur, Fri,; and rotating Wednesday/Saturday.
