PathGroup is seeking a Patient Service Floater to travel to client locations and perform daily phlebotomy activities in a professional manner. You will cover PSC locations and in-office PST duties, processing specimens and maintaining accurate data in PathConnect.
Expect frequent travel, strict adherence to safety, privacy policies, and regulatory guidelines, and strong communication with clients, patients, and PathGroup teams.
Patient Service Floater under the direction of the area supervisor performs daily phlebotomy activities of the Patient Service Center (PSC) or In-office Patient Service Technician (PST) accurately and on time. Patient Services Floater works assisting with coverage of client locations as needed. Travel is required. The person in this position interacts with the client, patients, and other PathGroup personnel in a professional and courteous manner and performs with confidence, both the forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing duties following established practices and procedures.
