Qualifications

  • 3 years healthcare/customer service or relevant experience.
  • Some college; Bachelor's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Acts as liaison for patient care activities in the practice and coordinates information and continuing care requirements.
  • Collaborates with clinical staff to resolve issues impacting patient care progression.
  • Monitors dashboard reminders and alerts to organize daily tasks, including visit status, follow-ups, authorizations, and scheduling.
  • Contacts insurance carriers for pre-certification and addresses escalated patient needs with the Practice Manager.
  • Provides front-end coverage as needed and records telephone encounters for routing to appropriate Providers.
  • Connects patients with relevant internal/external resources through coordination with Physicians, patients, and staff.
  • Provides recommendations for process/service improvement to enhance patient satisfaction and address issues.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
