Job summary

Abington Memorial Hospital is seeking a Patient Services Associate I to enhance the patient experience by processing arrival and departure activities at the front desk of an outpatient practice. You will verify insurance, referrals and patient demographics to ensure smooth visits.

The role emphasizes courteous service, HIPAA compliance, and supporting efficient flow of patients to examination rooms, with duties including check-in/out and scheduling via EPIC.

• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local standards.

• Greets and interacts with patients/visitors in a professional manner, on phone or in person.

• Ensures compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local regulatory standards.
• Other duties as requested or assigned.
